Mexican Woman Dress Up Marrying Tree, It Turns out It's Actually Happened

In the town of San Jacinto Amilpas, Oaxaca, Mexico, there is an unusual marriage. The bride is not married to the bridegroom but married to a tree.
Reported from Detik.com (26/02/2018) the bride looks happy when married to a tree. They were also seen hugging and kissing the tree they married. In fact there are many bouquets like a wedding in general.

Apparently, this marriage is not a real wedding as we imagine. This marriage was designed by some environmental activists to awaken the public about the dangers of illegal logging.

Recently in some Mexican states there has been felling of trees by illegal loggers and criminal groups. As a result, the forest that was originally filled with trees is now threatened bare by the act of the criminals. And the most severe forest of illegal logging occurs in the state of Oaxaca.
With this marriage campaign, activists hope to make people aware of the negative impacts of illegal logging.
