The world is flooded with photos of camera phone shots, especially in social media. But is there a camera phone that the camera company produces?
It was Leica who seemed to start thinking that way. At least, this is the dream of one of the boss of the German camera specialist company, Andreas Kaufmann.
Dreams in that direction at least have been done Leica by doing collaboration in the form of strategic partnership with Chinese mobile phone manufacturer, Huawei.
The partnership has resulted in the Huawei P9 smartphone, which is touted as an innovative dual-lens camera as one of its selling points.
Kaufmann, as CNBC published on July 24, 2017, said his personal dream is that someday he will see the real Leica phone.
