Defectors: North Korean Chefs Are Forced to Be Sex Slaves

SEOUL - Cheerleading cheerleaders of North Korean athletes at the Pyeongchang Winter Games are sex slaves of top Pyongyang politicians. 

This was revealed by a defector who is also a former North Korean soldier. Lee So-yeon said that dancers and singers were forced to undress and provide sexual services at the party's annual Central Politburo parties.

Members of the decision-making committee include North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and President Kim Yong-nam. 

"North Korean artists come here and perform with fancy dances and songs, but not only do they have to be responsible for Kim Jong-un's propaganda, they also have to go to parties and provide sexual services," Se-yeon said.

"This party is held every day for the Central Politburo, and even if they do not want this they have to serve with their bodies, like human rights violations," he continued. 

"The women there, when they are present, they have to undress, they are asked to undress like things, that is the physical pain they must experience," he said as quoted by the Independent on Sunday (25/2/2018). Se-yeon's claim is said to be based on past incidents that may have occurred several years ago. Lee Se-yeon himself is a former 42-year-old North Korean military officer who fled to South Korea in 2008. 

The athletes who took part in the Olympics were also described as "slaves" by Kim Hyung-soo (54) who defected to South Korea in 2009 with his son, a competitive skier. "In one word, the athlete is a sports slave to Kim Jong-un, even his coach is a slave of Kim Jong-un, and the North Korean regime," he said. "Because in North Korea, Kim Jong-un and his regime are all over the world, the athletes and cheerleaders as well.

All of them are slaves of Kim Jong-un and North Korea, the cheerleaders as well.They choose those who can not be handicapped, and people with a faithful background.This factor is very important from the beginning, "he said. The cheerleading team has been described as a "beauty army" by Han Seo-hee, a former member of the group. 

He told the BBC how women were singled out for their good performances and forced to do ideological training for three months to ensure their loyalty to the regime.
